Report- and PDF-Library
Using VPE, software developers do call functions in their programs to create
reports and documents, by placing objects - like text, rich text (RTF), images, lines, 1D and 2D barcodes, charts, etc. -
freely within a document.
|
Due to the free positioning of objects by program code, VPE is not just a
report generator, but a tool to create dynamically any type of complex document, for example reports, forms,
documents, diagrams, labels, etc. - your applications and projects have practically no limits.
|
|
VPE is developed since 1993, is stable, extremely fast and offers a clean and well-thought-out API.
Due to the intuitive conception, the usage of VPE is straightaway, and you are able to create your first reports within minutes.
VPE is a cross-platform / cross-language tool and available for the following operating systems and programming languages:
- Windows
- Mac OS X
- Linux
- Solaris
- IBM Aix (projected)
|
- .NET (C#, VB, ...)
- Java

- Delphi/C++ Builder VCL
- DLL /.so (C/C++, ...)

Note: Whilst providing the same API across all platforms, VPE provides the preview
and printing capability for the Windows platform only. On all the other platforms the preview and
printing of PDF files will be delegated to platform specific tools, like Acrobat Reader or Xpdf.
